The Flying News
The Flying News ("The only news that flews") began circa 1995 when a couple of high-school ruffians decided to make up stories to get some laughs. In 2014, the original band of writers decided to open The Flying News up to a wider audience and to make it one of the first free news sources with something actually enjoyable to read. Its uniqueness means it does not need to compete with certain unnamed news sources from Washington, DC, New York City, London, etc. Rather, "it slants the news in a way that no reader can resist, and always leaves you wanting more," according to staff writer Jim Jocifero.
