Dawn

I was walking through a dark alley just before dawn one day, when suddenly it became light. And then it dawned on me. It was dawn. I mean, it dawned on me that is was dawn. But also, it was dawn. And that’s when it dawned on me. I wasn’t in a dark alley anymore. I was in a light alley. Which doesn’t make for a very interesting story, because there’s nothing really creepy about a light alley. It’s pretty much an ordinary place to walk through, and nothing really interesting happens in that sort of place. So eventually, I just walked home and gave up on what I thought might be an interesting day worth writing about (which is why I haven’t written anything today).
